At the RedFrog Pub & Brewery, you can sip a new light-bodied craft beer, Miami Guava Wheat, created by expert brewmaster Colin Presby. It's one of four original draft beers available only at this pub.

But this isn't your ordinary watering hole — it drifts from colorful port cities to laid-back beach towns in the Caribbean, taking your palate on a figurative tropical journey while you're on a literal tropical journey.

That's right — this bar makes its home on the Carnival Vista cruise ship, and it's only place where you can try Miami Guava Wheat beer, named for the vessel's home port and infused with the flavor of guava, popular in the Magic City's pastries.

The beer was created as part of American Craft Beer Week in late May, and joins ThirstyFrog Port Hoppin' IPA, ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat and FriskyFrog Java Stout as brews made exclusively for ship guests. But don't procrastinate — Miami Guava Wheat is only available for a limited time.

"Since Carnival Vista began sailing from Miami, I've become fascinated by tropical fruit and Cuban cuisine so I'm beyond thrilled to create this new Miami Guava Wheat in honor of American Craft Beer Week for our guests to enjoy," Presby said.

Carnival Vista sails from Miami to Caribbean destinations and offers six- and eight-day itineraries. Next year, however, the ship will switch its home port to Galveston, Texas.

The onboard brewery is just one of several unique dining and drinking establishments on the Carnival Vista. There's a pharmacy-themed cocktail bar, a New England-style seafood restaurant and an authentic Asian eatery, plus a steakhouse and a family-style Italian restaurant.

As you'd expect, amenities on the ship are far from run-of-the-mill. There's a Cuban-themed bar and pool, the first IMAX theater at sea, and the SkyRide attraction that lets riders pedal a bike high above the deck on an elevated track.
