With everything from music and costumes to tricks and treats (not to mention plenty of booze), Halloween in Miami Beach promises to be a top-notch affair.

Here’s a roundup of events happening in Miami Beach on or near everyone’s favorite spooky holiday.

Tequila & Mescal Halloween Tasting Party

At the Drinkhouse Fire & Ice Lounge Tequila and Mescal tasting party, a host will take you on an intoxicating journey of tequila and mescal with newly created concoctions incorporating authentic Oaxacan tradition. Get complimentary access to the famed Ice bar and a goody bag filled with surprises. Tickets are $50 per person and include four cocktails.

Tastings are offered on the following dates:
Friday, October 28 — 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 29 — 8:30 p.m.
Monday, October 31 — 8 p.m.

Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon and Freaky 4-Miler

Don your best Halloween costume and join other runners and fitness fanatics at this marathon event, to be held October 29. Challenge yourself to the 4-mile or the 13.1-mile course, and watch superheroes, villains, clowns and others race to the finish line. The half-marathon begins at 6:30 a.m.; the 4-mile race begins at 6:50 a.m. Be sure to stick around for the post-race party at Nikki Beach!

Nightmare on the Beach

At the 21-and-up “Nightmare on the Beach: Día de Los Muertos” event taking place on October 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., guests will be dazzled by visual treats, electronic beats and talented performers as Lummus Park is transformed for the occasion. Food and cocktails from area restaurants will be provided. VIP tickets and a limited number of VIP tables with unlimited bottles are also available. Proceeds benefit The Little Lighthouse Foundation.

Halloween Night on Lincoln Road Mall

The biggest and best costume party in South Beach is planned for the evening of October 31. Join locals and visitors of all ages as they (and their pets!) parade through the Lincoln Road Mall, showing off their Halloween attire. The event is family-friendly and free.
