For anyone with a passion for Caribbean destinations, there has probably never been a better time to visit Cuba. This culturally rich, aesthetically vintage island nation is slowly opening its doors to American tourists (albeit with restrictions).

But browse available people-to-people tours and you’ll notice a trend — they usually span five to seven days and they can cost upwards of $5,000. Yikes.

Thankfully, insightCuba, a people-to-people educational tour operator, has announced a new three-night/four-day Cuba tour that combines beach time in renowned Varadero with a whirlwind stop through Havana — all for a starting rate of just $1,995 per person.

Among the experiences offered are:

-A day at the Melia Varadero beach resort
-An excursion to the farmers marker in the small town of Cardenas
-A trip to the Sugar Cane Museum
-A ride on the Sugar Cane antique train
-A visit to the Varahicos Ecological Reserve
-A full day of exploration in Havana, including a walking tour of Old Havana, a scenic ride along the Malecón, mojitos at Hotel Nacional and a visit to Ernest Hemingway’s home.
