Panama City Beach

Miles of Sand, Loads of Fun

Panama City Beach has a lot going for it: white sands, an expansive stretch of beachfront, tons of nearby shopping, restaurants and attractions, and of course, first-class accommodations.

While this city along  Florida’s Gulf Coast is well-known as a family-friendly destination, it’s also a favorite among couples, solo travelers and the many spring breakers who flock here every year.

Attractions and Activities

Like to lie out in the sun? You’ll be in good company. But if you seek a little time away from the sand and water, there is plenty to do. Check out the Wonderworks amusement park or marvel at the quirky displays at Ripley’s Believe It or Not. Pier Park is a top-notch shopping center complete with a theater for IMAX movies.

Visitors to Panama City Beach also enjoy sport fishing, golfing, camping, and of course, music and merriment from the city’s nightlife establishments.

Best Time to Come

Panama City cools off significantly in the winter months, making a dip in the water potentially a bit uncomfortable.

The warm spring and summer months are ideal but a bit busy, so plan your trip for the fall months if you’d like great weather and a little peace and quiet.
