Search for off-season dates
Most beach towns in Mexico see a huge rise in visitors between the months of January and April, when vacationers from the U.S. and Canada are seeking some much-needed time in the sun and sand. Choose summer or fall dates when you search for cheap all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and you'll see a dramatic drop in prices.
In Puerto Vallarta, for example, rates in the winter months are anywhere from $250 to $500 per night. But by summer, most hotels have dropped to no more than $250 — some don't even reach the $200 mark. Not bad, considering all of your meals, snacks, drinks (including alcoholic beverages) and plenty of activities and entertainment are included!
Consider nearby hotspots
If in your mind, the best cheap all-inclusive resort in Mexico includes white sand and Caribbean-blue sea, you're probably zeroing in on Cancun. But don't forget to look in lovely coastal towns in the nearby Riviera Maya, which boasts the same beach landscape and lifestyle as Cancun.
There's a huge variety of resorts to choose from in Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Puerto Morelos. Same goes for Puerto Vallarta: the nearby area of Nuevo Vallarta offers a similar experiences and expands your options for accommodations.
