With 29 stylish guest rooms and a location just one block from the beach, the Julia Hotel in South Beach is luring beach-obsessed guests with its original style and unique, artistic interior design.
The Julia, named after and inspired by Miami founder Julia Tuttle, is a revamp of a building located on iconic Collins Ave between 3rd and 4th streets. The new property was built on the foundation of the third oldest hotel in the area, with a façade dating back to the 1930s.
Inside, you'll find a completely updated interior featuring a fresh, eclectic look, with some original touches in elements such as the Cuban tiled flooring and the restored fireplace.
Rooms at the adults-exclusive property boast memory-foam mattresses, custom-designed furnishings, solid oak plank flooring and artwork from local and international artists.
But we doubt you'll spend much time in your room — Lummus Park, Mango's Tropical Café, Story Nightclub and Nikki Beach Miami are all within walking distance. Plus, the hotel's outdoor patio is perfect for a people-watching session.
A French-inspired continental breakfast including fresh croissants, brioche, pain au chocolat, yogurt, fruit, juices, coffee and tea is included in your stay, along with beach chairs, custom beach totes, WiFi, and best of all — a daily wine and cheese happy hour.
The Julia Hotel is owned by SMS Lodging, a family-owned company founded by brothers Gustaf and Jesper Arnoldsson in 2010. The company manages properties in Miami and Key West.
